Meet Irene . . .

A native New Yorker, Irene believes all artistic activity comes from a similar place, and delving into one art form is helpful in developing another. Irene's artwork includes paintings, drawings, and collages/mixed media pieces which have been shown in local galleries. After moving to San Diego, Irene recorded and performed as lead singer with bands Dream Tango and Sweet Madness, writing her own songs and co-writing some lyrics with her husband Karl. She and her band released two CDs: “Magic Hands” and “Love Again.” Irene’s theater/dance background is evident in her melodic, emotional songwriting style.
